The Technical Support Consultant position is part of the Technical and Customer Service team at Interica. The position is to provide both project implementation and post-sales support to Interica’s customers in the Asia Pacific region. Netapps Engineer •              Ability to solve problems quickly and completely. •              Ability to identify tasks that require automating and automate them. •              A solid understanding of SAN administration; for example, design and configuration of new SAN environments, installation and configuration of disk management applications, installation and configuration of HBA drivers and any related third-party software. Ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies. •              Extensive experience with IBM and Netapps Data Systems storage arrays (models 9980 and 9990) and McData Director class fibre switches. Experience in EMC DMX 3 is also desirable. •              A solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating system; for example, understands paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts (“inode”, “superblock”), can use performance analysis to tune systems. •              Experience with more than one UNIX and Microsoft operating system. •              Experience with Solaris operating systems. •              More than two years of previous disk Storage Area Network administration experience. •              A degree in computer science or related field. TSM Administrator •              Responsible for the daily administration of the IBM TSM backup infrastructure. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for performing daily backups of the following systems; Microsoft Windows and Various UNIX Platforms. •              Perform data recovery of systems and end user data as necessary.  This position will also support the migration of backup  technologies between platforms. •              Perform daily backups, data recovery, and all associated reporting. •              Requires at least 5 years experiences in Storage Management with technical knowledge in the following:

    • IBM TSM 5.x. Symantec NetBackup, Symantec BackupExec, or HP Data Protector experience a plus.
    • In depth understanding of the AIX platform.
    • Basic knowledge of networking technologies.
    • Storage networking technologies related to Storage Area Networks, to include fibre channel.
    • Knowledge of HP-UX, AIX, Solaris, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Linux operating systems is desired.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and VISIO
    • Should have knowledge of service ticket requests. i.e. Peregrine, Remedy, etc…
    • Perl Scripting is a plus

JDE Application Support (Fresh graduates) Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for J.D. Edwards Enterprise One technical support.
  • Will provide daily support to system and work on package management.
  • Experience with CNC concepts including OMW, OCM, product packaging, and Solution Explorer are required.
  • Knowledge of Citrix Metaframe and Microsoft products is a plus.
  • Industry specific experience in manufacturing and/or distribution would be beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience.
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
  • Microsoft certifications a plus.
  • Knowledge of any ERP software is a plus
